As soon as your LuxeLift bed wedge pillow arrives, remove the outer box, carefully open the plastic cover and uncurl the wedge. Remove the bamboo cover, then separate the two foam wedges and leave them to air-out near an open window for least 24-72 hours, until any built up memory foam odor disappears and your wedge pillow has fully expanded.
To get off to a good start with optimum freshness, remove the natural bamboo cover and machine-wash it at 30°C. Let the cover air dry naturally, then once your wedge pillow has fully reformed, slip it back on with the zip at the base and you’re good to go.
Next you will need to determine the height you wish to use: for 12” use both parts of the wedge, or for 8” only use the top half (with the memory foam layer on). When memory foam in enclosed in air-tight packaging over a period of time, occasionally low levels of vapor can build up and cause ‘that memory foam smell’. This is perfectly normal, not harmful in any way and will very quickly subside when aired out. Rest assured, all our pillows are guaranteed OEKO TEX certified free from harmful substances so there is nothing to worry about if you detect an initial odor. As soon as you receive your wedge pillow, remove all packaging and the cover. Allow the foam to fully expand and ‘air out’ naturally near an open window for at least 24-72 hours before use and wash the cover to achieve optimal freshness.
The LuxeLift is suitable for side sleepers as whether you are on your back or side, your back neck and shoulders will be elevated. The LuxeLift has extra thick memory foam compared to most other brands of wedge pillow which will allow more comfort for the shoulder you are lying on. We would additionally recommend using a standard pillow on top of the bed wedge to support the head & neck, particularly when sleeping on your side.
No. All bed wedge pillows are designed to provide relief by elevation of the torso. As such they are suitable for people who sleep on their back or side, but not for sleeping face down, as this will put strain on the lower back.

The LuxeLift wedge pillow is 24” wide x 24” deep x 12” high. However if only the top part of the wedge is used to achieve a smaller incline then the dimensions are 24” wide x 24” deep x 8” high.
To get the maximum benefit from the LuxeLift, we recommend that you place it on top of the mattress. This will ensure that you get the great benefit that the memory foam provides and be able to alter its position with ease.

You can use the bamboo cover that is supplied with the wedge although it will be slightly oversize for the 8" height. Simply reduce the height of the foam and gather any ‘loose’ material from the cover underneath the pillow so that it does not interfere with your comfort. Alternatively you can purchase the CoziLift Wedge Pillow Cover which will be the exact dimensions for the 8” configuration of the LuxeLift pillow. To retain the natural comfort and cooling qualities of the LuxeLift bamboo cover when cleaning, remove from the wedge pillow, machine wash at 30°C and hang or air dry. Do not use bleach or put in a tumble drier. Do not iron the cover (it is naturally crease resistant).
Memory foam is delicate and should only be sponge cleaned by hand with a very light touch, using as little liquid and gentle cleaning agents as possible. Always ensure the wedge is completely dry before replacing the cover. See the USER GUIDE for full care instructions.
The LuxeLift wedge pillow has a number of features to prevent heat build-up (which is an issue with many other brands of memory foam products.)
- Egg Crate Memory Foam with AirFlow Technology. The structural design of the memory foam increases airflow whilst using the pillow which in turn prevents the build-up of heat.
- Gel-infused memory foam. The memory foam that is used on the LuxeLift pillow contains a cooling gel which helps to prevent sweating whilst you sleep.
In addition to these features the cover is made from naturally cooling bamboo which wicks away moisture.
The LuxeLift wedge pillow can be configured to provide a maximum height of either 12” or 8”. For the 12” position, both parts of the wedge should be placed together and the no-slip grooves ensure that the pillow remains locked in the correct position while you sleep.
