As soon as your CoziLift bed wedge pillow arrives, carefully open the plastic cover and uncurl the wedge. Remove the bamboo cover and leave the foam wedge to air-out near an open window for least 24-72 hours, until any built up memory foam odor disappears and your wedge pillow has fully expanded.
To get off to a good start with optimum freshness, remove the natural bamboo cover and machine-wash it at 30°C. Let the cover air dry naturally, then once your wedge pillow has fully reformed, slip it back on with the zip at the base and you’re good to go.

As with all memory foam products, there is sometimes a slight odor when first opened due to storage. However this will soon disappear if the pillow is left to 'air out’ in a well ventilated space for at least 24 hours before
use (e.g. in the dry near to an open window).
To get the maximum benefit from the CoziLift, we recommend that you place it on top of the mattress. This will ensure that you get the great benefit that the memory foam provides and be able to alter its position with ease.
The CoziLift is suitable for side sleepers as whether you are on your back or side, your back neck and shoulders will be elevated. The CoziLift has extra thick memory foam compared to most other brands of wedge pillow which will allow more comfort for the shoulder you are lying on. We would additionally recommend using a standard pillow on top of the bed wedge to support the head & neck when sleeping on your side.
No. All bed wedge pillows are designed to provide relief by elevation of the torso. As such they are suitable for people who sleep on their back or side, but not for sleeping face down as this will put strain on the lower back.

To retain the natural comfort and cooling qualities of the CoziLift bamboo cover when cleaning, remove from the wedge pillow, machine wash at 30°C and hang or air dry. Do not use bleach or put in a tumble drier. Do not iron the cover (it is naturally crease resistant).

Memory foam is delicate and should only be sponge cleaned by hand with a very light touch, using as little liquid and gentle cleaning agents as possible. Always ensure the wedge is completely dry before replacing the cover. See the USER GUIDE for full care instructions.
The CoziLift wedge pillow has a number of features to prevent heat build-up (which is an issue with many other brands of memory foam products.)
- Egg Crate Memory Foam with AirFlow Technology. The structural design of the memory foam increases airflow whilst using the pillow which in turn prevents the build-up of heat.
- Gel-infused memory foam. The memory foam that is used on the CoziLift pillow contains a cooling gel which helps to prevent sweating whilst you sleep.
In addition to these features the cover is made from naturally cooling bamboo which wicks away moisture.
