The Zenesse Health dental night guards for grinding teeth are manufactured from EVA copolymer, which is a medical-grade thermoplastic material that provides the required durability and strength needed to protect teeth from grinding. When heated, this material can be molded to provide a perfect fit for your teeth.

No, Zenesse Health mouth guards do not contain latex, BPAs or phthalates. They are made from safe, FDA approved materials specifically used for the manufacturing of custom fitted mouth guards.

Yes! The materials that are used to manufacture Zenesse Health mouth guards are FDA certified for this purpose. The design of the mouth guards is approved and recommended by dentists.

Yes! Our mouth guards can be molded so that they fit YOUR teeth perfectly. They can also be trimmed if they are too high on your gums or too long in the jaw. We provide two sizes for you to choose from, so you can achieve a perfect fit.

The package includes 4 teeth guards in 2 sizes, fitting instructions and a hygienic storage case.

Step 1 - Bring a small pot of water to a full boil. Also place a container of cold water nearby, deep enough to dip the mouth guard into. Select the mouth guard size that feels most comfortable, then fully submerge it in the boiling water for 30 seconds using a pair of plastic tongs or ladle.
IMPORTANT: When the mouth guard begins to curl, carefully remove with tongs and quickly dip it into the cold water for 1 second.

Step 2 - Immediately place the mouth guard around the upper teeth. The mouth guard will be warm but will not burn. Instantly secure the guard by pressing your tongue against the back of the upper teeth and then press the back of the mouth guard with your thumbs into the upper teeth. Then with your lips pressed together, bite gently and suck all the air and water out, at the same time pressing gently around the front and sides of your upper lip for at least 30 seconds, until a tight fit forms around upper teeth.

Step 3 - Carefully remove the mouth guard and place into cold water for 10 minutes to set. If you find the it is still too long or too tall, the guard can then be trimmed slightly shorter at the back or top with a sharp pair of scissors for a perfect fit.

Step 4 - Congratulations, you now have your very own custom-fitted mouthguard!
If you do not get a tight fit first time, simply repeat the 3 step procedure for the perfect fit.

For continued optimum daily performance, always wash your teeth guards with cold water after use and store in the complementary hygienic retainer case.

Bruxism is the grinding and clenching of teeth (usually when sleeping) which, amongst other things, can accelerate the erosion of teeth. The Zenesse Health dental guards are a dentist approved design to protect teeth from the impact of Bruxism. The layer between the teeth is thicker to withstand the effects of grinding to ensure your teeth remain protected and do not become eroded or damaged. Also the presence of a mouth guard at night prevents some people from making the grinding movement and so not only protects the teeth but can reduce the severity of Bruxism.

Yes! As they can be molded to fit your teeth perfectly, they are ideal for use during teeth whitening. Simply mold to fit, add your teeth whitening agent to the guard and then apply according to the whitening instructions. After use they can simply be washed and kept clean in the storage case until you are ready to whiten again!

If you frequently wake up with a headache or have a migraine in the morning, this could be due to what is happening during your sleep. Jaw clenching and teeth grinding at night often happen without us being aware that we do it. This motion can create stress and tension in the whole jaw which can cause facial pain and headaches. By wearing a dental night guard, the amount of jaw clenching is reduced which in turn reduces the tension held in the facial muscles and so reduces the chances of a headache.
