OUR ORIGINS
Zenesse Health was born out of personal experience and need. Co-founded by three siblings - Andrew, Sarah & Christian Toft, our families were living with various diagnoses including Autism, Sleep Apnea, Reflux, Scoliosis, Shoulder and Back pain. As such we were very aware of the personal side effects that medical interventions, procedures and drugs can have when trying to improve these conditions.
Eager to adopt a more holistic approach and promote overall well-being not only for our immediate family, but for others with similar conditions, much research has been put into developing a range of superior therapeutic products that support the needs of people with physical pain and the challenges of sleep. Zenesse Health was born in 2017 with the desire not just to support and improve lives, but enable people to 'Live Great'. - A real family business with true altruistic aspirations.

We develop products from extensive research into the therapeutic needs of real people and what would help them lead a balanced happy life and help improve the quality of rest and sleep. Once we decide on a product idea, we think of how existing solutions can be improved and what features our family members would like to see in a product to make it the best version available on the market. After all, if it's not good enough for us, it’s certainly not good enough for you! We then consult with doctors and medical experts in their field to design innovative, durable and adaptable products that fit the specific needs of individuals.
We are a family company and as such we do not report to shareholders and the need to increase profit, but instead to our product users whose opinion we value most. INNOVATION THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Our innovative market leading split wedge pillow was designed as a result of a car crash. Christian was a passenger in a car involved in a head on collision in 2017 and suffered a broken collar bone and sternum. Unable to get comfortable to sleep at night it was recommended he use a wedge pillow for recovery. However, the issue of which height to choose was hit straight away. "Do I need a 12" or 8"? I’ve no idea, I’ve never bought one before". The search for an adjustable bed wedge pillow was unfulfilled and so the Zenesse Health LUXELIFT Support Therapy 12"/8" Adjustable Wedge Pillow was born which can be set at either a 12" or 8" height. As the shoulder injury improved it could be lowered from a 12" to 8" bed wedge and eventually back to a standard pillow without any extra cost.
When Sarah’s daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis she discovered the position that her daughter slept in made a huge difference to her pain level and quality of sleep. As a side sleeper her daughter added stress to her spine and so needed a half moon bolster pillow between her legs to keep the spine aligned. But all the bolster pillows she tried made her too hot and they would end up on the floor. This is why we designed the Zenesse Health Half Moon Bolster Pillow with its cooling gel-infused egg crate style memory foam to keep her cool at night. With the core of the pillow being high density foam the pillow provided the optimum level of support to prevent back pain. Mission accomplished!
During this process we also identified a need for some people to remain sleeping on one side and not move from that position all night. The positioning pillows that were currently on the market were uncomfortable and collapsed easily when rolled on in sleep. So we set to design a comfortable positioning wedge that provided comforting support and would stand up to the wriggles and turns of the most active sleeper – the Zenesse Health Positioning Wedge Pillow was created.
